I was in a tough custody battle. Constant allegations and Lindsey went after it and I got my kids! I saw Lindsey in action in negotiations and trial and she was a fighter. Lindsey is practical and not a shady lawyer that will just do something over money. Her team (with Kathy) wanted to do the right thing. I appreciate all their help!

Lindsey was on my case as a court appointed GAL. She took the time to listen to my side of the story and she did her research into the evidence that was presented. As a father, and I’m sure other fathers know this, we are strongly discriminated against in court due to outdated biases that “lawfully” don’t exist, but yes, the court still shows overwhelming preference to mothers, seemingly, regardless of what they’ve done. Lindsey surprised me though, she took everything into account and actually took the time to have a deep conversation with me about things. Lindsey understood what I was going through with my child’s mother and she pointed out some things that I wasn’t even aware of. For the people saying she is money hungry, no she isn’t. I was initially told a set price by the judge, but Lindsey actually prorated it for me. She does care enough as a person looking from the outside in. I could not have asked for a better GAL, that understood the case work.

I can’t recommend her enough. Back in 2019 she did my divorce case with custody and got me everything and then some. And explained everything to me. I used her march 2021 and case closed on feb 2023 and I got sole custody of my daughter. She is a shark! I strongly encourage if you haven’t ever been through court she makes court less scary. And I’m pretty harsh and she tells me the best moves and they worked in my favor. Mind you Missouri is a 50/50 state. I encourage the money is worth it.

Hands down Lindsey is the best lawyer I have ever had to represent me in any court case and also the only one I will use in Kansas City area from now on. She never left me out of the loop all the way thru and was always very easy to communicate with. For the money Lindsey is one of the few that is worth every penny . I would refer her to anyone for any type of problem if she can't help she will put you in right direction.

I was referred to Lindsey Waits by another attorney to represent me during a Modification. Lindsey is top notch and worth every penny spent. I really appreciated how well she communicated everything that was going on at all times. Even answering emails after hours at one point. She is very detailed and is not afraid to stand up for her clients if she can tell they're being bullied. I would highly recommend Lindsey and will continue to go to her for my legal needs.

Paid lindsey waits $3,200 in 2016 just for her to NOT SHOW UP FOR COURT 3 TIMES!!! Sent her associate Mr witteman, who knew nothing about my case. At the 3rd hearing i was cornered into making a decision or threatened to pay my ex's court costs. It was a complete disaster! I've waited 7 years to write this review because I didn't want to say anything out of anger. I still feel the same way about this "attorney". Please DO NOT waste your time or money for legal representation that doesn't even take the time to show up for your important court date!

I love how you obviously sat and wrote your own 5 star reviews. It makes you look how you truly are though - pathetic. Now, if you would just put some of that energy into your clients, you may get somewhere - And by that, I mean with the case, not them.

Lindsey is unprofessional and money hungry!!! The case lasted 2 years because she kept having personal/health issues. She wouldn’t communicate when opposing counsel sent relevant emails. Typically took over a week for her to respond and when you’re children are the main concern, this is an ISSUE!!! Would’ve gotten a better deal if I stuck with what we agreed upon in mediation, but she was on a cash grab and encouraged me to fight. 1,000% do NOT recommend!!
