I hired Jake to represent me in my divorce. My ex-wife and I had already agreed to a collaborative divorce settlement. We both wanted to minimize the cost for divorce. I presented our agreed settlement to Jake and he became upset with me and refused to follow my request. He insisted that I should follow his guidance and stop communicating with my ex-wife. Following his guidance resulted in him charging me over $5000 to receive the exact settlement I presented to him in the first place.
