About Mindy Lee Hitchcock

Mindy L. Hitchcock is the founder and managing attorney at Lady4Justice, PLLC. She has worked in the legal sector in Michigan for over three decades and prides herself on her holistic approach. Mindy believes in working towards a win-win solution whenever possible and aggressively litigating whenever necessary. Recognizing that family law is deeply personal, Mindy is committed to providing her clients with compassionate counsel that can be tailored to suit their needs and interests.

Mindy attended Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, MI. Prior to attending law school, Mindy graduated from Wayne State University summa cum laude, with a bachelor’s degree in Communication and a minor in Spanish, and was inducted as a lifelong member of Phi Beta Kappa, Gamma Chapter of Michigan for her scholarship.

Since graduating from law school, Mindy has been committing to achieving remarkable results for her clients. She has written numerous family law articles in court and local newspapers and utilized her skills to develop some of the most unique solutions to some of the most difficult problems people face in family court today. These include the Family Transition Plan and the No Parent Left Behind Plan, both aimed at reducing the financial and emotional burden of spending time in court.

After a long marriage of 31 years my husband and I divorced. I was scared, anxious, confused and hurt. Mindy was incredible. I sat there before her and she made me feel like she cared and understood my situation.
When I was searching for a lawyer online I came upon her site and her statement on her page.."It started with love, why not end it the same way?" I was impressed with that. I found her to be kind and understanding but, tenacious. She had my back. She was thorough and professional.

Mindy is EXCELLENT! She took our case when other lawyers wouldn't and she WON! She is understanding, diligent and aggressive when needed. Even with us out of state she was able to get all the facts and get our granddaughter for us. Anyone who needs a lawyer for child issues should ALWAYS choose Mindy. Excellent Lawyer! Mindy worked diligently and quickly to help us gain custody of our grandchild. She was a good listener, understanding and was attentive to the facts of our case. She was aggressive in court. She was able to gain custody for us even though we were in a different state. I would recommend Mindy to anyone dealing in this situation. We had interviewed several other attorneys who wouldn't even help us and Mindy did so willingly, saying we had a GOOD Case.

Mindy is a beautiful attorney. Even the employees are wonderful. Unfortunately I live out of state in South Carolina, but Michigan has jurisdiction of my child custody case. Mindy took my case with love and the Lord in mind. She communicated with me via e-mail, phone and even text messages. She fought the battle for me and won! She truly cares for her clients. Mindy Hitchcock represented me in my divorce proceedings in 2005/2006. My divorce was a very difficult 18 month long process, requiring court ordered mediation to settle. Mindy supported me every step of the way. I doubt whether I would have succeeded in navigating such a painful and challenging experience and live to tell about it on the other side without her. Mindy is a fantastic attorney. She has represented me throughout a long and ugly custody battle and has been amazing throughout. Ms. Hitchcock has been a life savior. She has played a large role in the re-uniting of my daughter and I. She has proven that fathers have rights. Now, because of Ms. Hitchcock, I have custody of my daughter. There are still battles we face daily. Ms. Hitchcock is always there. She is very prompt in returning emails and phone calls.
