Neyhart & McConnell, P.C. is a law firm established in 2008 with an office in Blacksburg, VA. At this office location, there are 2 lawyers practicing criminal defense, traffic court and dui/dwi defense, landlord and tenant law and 13 other areas of law.
Our son got into some serious trouble with drugs while at Virginia Tech and was ultimately charged with several felony offenses. A lawyer we know in Richmond recommended Brad McConnel. Mr. McConnel was able to get the charges reduced and taken under advisement. After our son spent some time in rehab and on probation, the cases against him were dismissed. He steered us through this process from the start and we are so grateful we found him.
If u get this guy as ur lawyer I’m so sorry unless it deals with a significant amount and ur paying him u won’t hear from him especially if he’s ur court appointed lawyer I can’t remember how many times I called this guy looking for answers frantic homeless an starving I still couldn’t get a return call I still can’t get a return call to this day even months later he tried to say he called the day of the court day lmao no no he didn’t not a single time good luck may god have mercy on u and watch over u if u get this guy ur in trouble because this dude barely cares ur just a walking $ sign dude barely acknowledged my existence if ur a woman may get luckier
Don’t expect to get help if this is your appointed attorney even if you have everything you need to show evidence unless you are paying him personally. He helps who he chooses too. After expressing my concerns, I was treated like less of a person than him. Very unprofessional!

Tracy Neyhart was appointed to me as a guardian at Leitem and she was awful, she did not do her job and she sided against me to take away my grandchildren and give them to a friend of the parent. She did not do an investigation on the other party. She did not come and see me with the grandchildren or come to see where I lived, and no investigation on me. She sat up appointments with me and did not show up and did not return my calls. She did not speak to me on court day and talked to the other party. I have custody of another grandchild and I know what a good guardian at Leitem suppose to do and she did none of it. I would select Determined as applied to her, because she was determined that she was going to help the other party.
Tracy Neyhart is by far one of the worse attorneys I have ever met and had to work with. She was appointed guardian at Leitem in my custody case for my children she misrepresented herself she did not do a thorough investigation and she only interviewed people that benefited my ex. It was very apparent that Neyhart did not like me or men and it showed in her ability to be a unbiased party and to conduct a unbiased investigation. I am convinced that if it wasn’t for court-appointed attorneys and Neyhart being appointed by the judge that she would have no client base whatsoever. If she can obtain a license to practice law anyone can. I do not recommend her for anything. This is just my review of her please read any and all reviews to make a informed decision before you retain her.
was waiting to hear back from atty to see if he was able to do anything other than whas was offered from the court for first offense. Atty never, called back, never looked at the file, and took the money and didn't do anything. Very dishonest!!!
I took Ms. Neyhart as a lawyer during a very difficult time in my divorce. Her council during the separation agreement, and since that time with child custody issues have never been in my best interest--rather she seemed to favor my ex-husband. In addition, there were always mistakes in the documents, which I had to correct, and which, for the most part would have been detrimental to me if I hadn't corrected them.
