Hired Attorney

Thomas Burckhard is the worst attorney ever ! I hired Heartland law firm and was given Thomas Burckhard as my attorney to file an appeal on a sensitive timeline in which Mr.Burckhard failed to do so. I lost my case and any chance of further appeals. I was sent back only half of my retainer and was told sorry we forgot about your case and fired Mr.Burckhard and that there were several other clients he did this to also. Upon further investigation Thomas Burckhard has been fired from every law firm he's worked for being incompetent as an attorney!

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
