Hired Attorney

He not only cared about my case, he did all the right things and helped me avoid doing the wrong things. Helped take emotions out of case as much as possible. He's tough, fair, compassionate, smart and experienced. My children will have a better life because of this man and I cannot say enough good things about him.

Hired Attorney

My Ex-wife and I hired Mr. Schnelz in 2018 to help us with one remaining item on our divorce agreement. Prior to meeting with him, we had amicably and mutually agreed to all other terms and desired a fairness opinion on one last issue. We had an absolutely awful experience with Kurt Schnelz. I intentionally did not write a negative review at that time because I am a very positive person and do not like to spend energy focusing on the negative aspects of life. I have now chosen to write this review because unfortunately one of my friends also hired Mr. Schnelz and had a very similar and extremely disappointing experience. I now realize that I have an important responsibility to share my experience to help prevent others from getting hurt by hiring Kurt. Mr. Schnelz did not listen to what we wanted and why we were hiring him, he acted as a bully, he intentionally did not tell the truth to both parties, and he certainly was not objective and impartial. I definitely do NOT recommend him!

I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend working with Kurt. Do your research as I took another attorney’s referral rather than doing my own and it cost me my case and my money. There is a stack of complaints against him and cases where clients left him and sought other counsel due to alleged negligent practices such as side deals and over billing

Avoid Kurt Schnelz the “wannabe judge” – Schnelz father was a judge but he never made it so he now pretends to be one as an “arbitrator”. His “legal practice” is based on drafting arbitration agreements full of loopholes which he then exploits over a prolonged time period. He then conducts multiple “hearings”. He gets to play at being a judge in his very own kangaroo court, i.e., “arbitrator.” He then churns the file to increase billing. Schnelz, has alsod deprived a mother and child's time partially on a personal financial dispute he had with the mother (using non-payment of his bill against her). The arbitrator is now being sued for ethics violations in a separate case, in Jody Polhman vs. Kurt Schnelz. Schnelz has had to move to a smaller interior office and thus is even more motivated to churn files to increase billing. Schnelz apparently has never been right in the head since his divorce and since his kid crashed a car that killed his second wife
