About Rebecca A. Beers

Rebecca Beers focuses her practice on securities and commercial litigation, representing clients in state and federal courts and in various arbitral venues, including FINRA and AAA arbitration, across the country. She represents broker-dealers, registered investment advisors, and registered persons, litigating claims related to employment contracts, clearing broker liability, suitability, fraud, supervision, raiding, and trust liability as well as negotiating solutions pre-litigation and with regulators.

Rebecca also has substantial experience in defending pest control industry claims, including breach of contract, tort, and fraud actions, as well as chemical exposure and personal injury matters within the industry. In addition to representing pest control industry clients in litigation, she also provides them with advice and counsel on compliance and regulatory matters. She works collaboratively to ensure that industry clients are complying with their obligations to their customers and to their regulators while simultaneously ensuring that their business interests are best represented to prevent litigation and to establish the best strategic position should litigation occur.

In addition, Rebecca has experience serving general business clients in a wide range of practice areas including class actions, product liability, insurance, employment issues, and contract disputes for large and small businesses. Through research and practical experience, Rebecca has also developed a broad-based knowledge of arbitration law, particularly in post-award litigation in courts and in the enforcement of arbitration agreements.

In addition to her active law practice, Rebecca is a leader in bar and civic organizations. Voted by her peers in 2024 to lead the 3,000-member strong Birmingham Bar Association, she served as President-Elect in 2025 and is serving as President in 2026.

Throughout the years, Rebecca has received numerous honors and recognitions. The Birmingham Business Journal named Rebecca to its “Best of the Bar” list in 2024 and to its list of “Top 40 Under 40” in 2020. She was selected as a member of the 2023 Class of Leadership Birmingham and was chosen as a member of Class III of the Alabama Leadership Initiative and a member of Class XI of the Alabama State Bar Leadership Forum. Outside of work, Rebecca dedicates herself to community service efforts in Birmingham and beyond, having has served in various leadership capacities for several non-profits and educational institutions.

Prior to entering private practice, Rebecca served as law clerk to the Honorable William M. Acker, Jr., Senior United States District Judge for the Northern District of Alabama.
