About Mallory S. Morgan Combest

Battle & Winn lawyer Mallory Morgan joined the firm after honing her skills in litigation boutiques and at a law firm of more than 350 attorneys. Her practice centers on complex commercial litigation, but her clients -- both businesses and individuals -- have called on her to navigate claims in a range of areas.

A seasoned litigator, Mallory has represented financial institutions, businesses, local governments, and individuals. She has been fortunate to advise these clients in a number of areas, including civil rights, labor and employment, financial, contract, and trust and estates law. This broad range of experience, combined with her research and advocacy skills, has put her in the best position to advise her clients and successfully resolve cases.

Having served as a longtime law clerk to the Hon. Susan Russ Walker and the Hon. Paul W. Greene, both former United States Magistrate Judges in the Middle District of Alabama, Mallory draws on this insider experience when helping her clients develop strategies for efficient, successful resolution of litigation.

Mallory is a fierce advocate for her clients’ interests. An award-winning college debater, she uses her advocacy skills in courts and before arbitrators to achieve the best possible result for her clients, no matter how big or small.

Mallory is originally from Thomasville, Alabama and can now be seen around Birmingham wrangling her two elementary-age children. She is a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and enjoys volunteering with the Crestline Elementary School PTO. When her schedule permits, Mallory works with two arts education non-profits based in Alabama’s Black Belt that she helped create: The Hopewell Project and Sew Their Names Project.

Mallory previously served as a board member of Medical Advocacy & Outreach (formerly Montgomery AIDS Outreach) and a junior board member of the Literacy Council of Central Alabama. She has also volunteered with the Montgomery Area Council on Aging and the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts.
