About Mr. Kirby Dee Farris

With over two decades of experience, Kirby Farris leads Farris, Riley & Pitt, LLP as managing partner, focusing on personal injury, FELA, and FLSA cases. His career was shaped by his tenure at Norfolk Southern Railway Corporation, where he understood the serious impact of workplace injuries. As Designated FELA Counsel for the TCU, Mr. Farris has achieved a lifelong ambition to support injured railroad workers. Holding a law degree from Birmingham School of Law, he lectured in torts and civil procedure, establishing his practice in 1997 through trusted referrals. Mr. Farris has secured numerous multimillion-dollar settlements and conducts FLSA class actions nationwide. He is a member of esteemed organizations such as the American and Alabama Bar Associations and is active in the Alabama Association for Justice. The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
