Do not hire Denise Pomeroy if you are looking for a divorce lawyer in the Greater Birmingham area. This woman is beyond evil. She was presented with a domestic violence case in which the husband had years of arrests and a history of violence. Denise did nothing to protect the wife from the abuser. She treated it as a regular divorce, not wanting to disclose this was out of her league and area of expertise. She put the wife and family in danger, multiple times over the course of a year. Why? So she could keep collecting her legal fees. Meanwhile, the abuser destroyed all belongings in the family home, killed pets, and what did Denise do? Nothing. In fact, she allowed the abuser's lawyer to bargain and then delayed until there was no court date. Meaning, the abuser never faced a judge. It didn't end there, because, despite knowing full well that her client's safety was in danger, she allowed for a 50/50 split of their home and property. Do not hire this woman!
