David Condon is the reason that other attorneys are given a bad name. In an effort to help my husband and his sisters (one a previous employee of his) coerce me in a closing, Mr. Condon removed a page just previous to the one I signed “to fix a spelling error.” At that time I trusted my husband and didn’t question it, I also didn’t know it was the very basis of what I was signing. In no way did Mr. Condon do his due diligence of explaining to me what was missing. I had in fact, unknowingly signed away my vested right to our home. That page stating those terms was added at a later date, after the closing. I discovered that months later when I found the final deed, that had been hidden from me locked in my husband’s truck. Oddly the spelling error had not been fixed. I have reason to believe he was intentionally involved. I know for a fact it was his responsibility to explain to me what I was signing. I will be filing a complaint with the Alabama Bar Association and seek damages.
