About Brett Hollett

Brett Hollett has resided in Birmingham for over twenty-seven years and is a graduate of the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. He also holds a B.S., Economics, from Birmingham Southern College.

Prior to joining Turnbull, Holcomb & LeMoine, Brett was a partner at a local law firm where he focused on personal injury and criminal defense work. Brett’s main focus throughout his legal career has been centered around helping people. He truly believes the best way to do that is to first listen to his clients’ needs and then provide them with a voice to help level the playing field. His practice is concentrated in the areas of Personal Injury, Auto Accidents and Wrongful Death. He understands how important each case is and appreciates the opportunity to serve and help his clients in their time of need.

When Brett is not practicing law, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Lydia, and their son, Griffin.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
