I paid upfront and it took a long time (over a year) for my divorce to be finalized. I had my separation papers drawn up with him and that went well and my divorce was uncontested, so it shouldn't have been a big deal. I felt like I got the runaround and found out at one point I was told I was divorced and found out later that I was not.
I hired him to help me in family court. The consultation was great and he said we had a strong case. And we won which was great. But his secretary is rude and unprofessional and he asks you questions but then doesn’t listen to your full answer. He hears whatever he wants to hear and ignores the rest. It took him two months to get the draft of the new custody order into the court for the judge to sign which caused a lot of problems.
