I had a motorcycle accident and was months in the hospital and spend eight more months at home not able to leave the house. Thre lawyer always asked me to come in to sign some paper without giving me real information. I told him that he has to come to my house. He always was moaning having to come to my house. By the end of the case, I asked to continue with a civil suit. He refused. But he was happy collecting over $33.000. Of course the money I got is gone and I have to pay now many medical therapies out of pocket.
I hired a lawyer to handle the closing on the sale of my home. I received one phone call from that lawyer. I was told 2 days before the closing that the lawyer I hired had left the firm and did not speak to a lawyer until the closing. I was not kept informed on the timing of the closing and I am now being chased down for payments that should have been handled at the closing. Very unprofessional service, I would not use this firm again.
Actually told us that no money would be distributed until the estate closes, but New York law states that estate closes after distribution. Uses clients for more money, dragged on for years! Doesn't return calls or emails.
