About Jon S. Blechman

Jon. S. Blechman, Special Counsel with Hinman, Howard & Kattell since 2002, focuses his practice on criminal law, administrative law and litigation. He has successfully handled numerous criminal matters from the early stages of investigation, through arraignment, trial and appeal. His representation includes those accused of white-collar crimes. He also represents various professionals who have legal problems with their professional license.

In addition to his criminal practice, Jon serves as a hearing officer for school disciplinary hearings, and as an advocate or hearing officer in public employee disciplinary hearings.

Jon has served an instructor at Broome Community College’s criminal justice program and as a lecturer for a number of continuing legal education programs sponsored by the Broome County and New York State Bar Associations.

Jon is a Past President and Board Member of the Handicapped Children’s Association of Southern NY; a past President of Vestal Hills Country Club; and a past Member of Board of Governors of Binghamton Country Club.
