About Scott P. Batey

Many years ago I went to law school with the intention of going into politics, then a funny thing happened, I fell in love with the law. I love being a lawyer. I don't understand colleagues and other lawyers who complain about their careers, I love every second of it. It is not just my career, it is who I am, it is what I do and what I am passionate about. The books I read, the movies I watch, the television shows I watch are all predominantly about the law. I try to bring my passion and energy to every case I have. I understand when a client walks into my office that client has entrusted his or her life with me. I take that trust seriously and I do everything in my power to get the best result possible for each and every client. By not going into politics I gave up the opportunity to help society as a whole, I really believe that I am making a larger, more immediate contribution by helping one client at a time.
