Lawrence took a very good case on contingency. Great. But after contract was signed, work began, and lawsuit was ready to be filed, we gave opposing party a chance to sit down with us. So they did. In that meeting, the other side had 3 attorneys present, and they pushed hard back at us. They weren't there to make a deal. But Lawrence apparently thought that would happen. After the meeting, Lawrence dropped the bombshell: I'll still do it, but not on contingency. Dishonest, dishonest, dishonest.
