I had a very negative experience dealing with Attorney Christopher M. Brainard. In my opinion, communication was poor and extremely frustrating. Phone contact was unreliable, calls often did not go through or were not returned, and emails were not responded to in a timely manner. I also have serious concerns regarding levy and escrow-related actions connected to my matter, including what I believe were incorrect address details that affected notice and fairness. Approximately $36,000 connected to my escrow was impacted, which has caused significant stress and hardship. Based on my experience, I also questioned the transparency of the business location, as I understood there to be a private mailbox/PMB address rather than a traditional staffed California office. I further felt disrespected during interactions and believed my background and accent were not treated appropriately.
