Abigail Beryl Scott is a skilled attorney with a strong background in litigation. She earned her Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, where her passion for client-centered advocacy began. While in law school, Abigail served as a student attorney in the Columbus Community Legal Services, Families and the Law Clinic, handling domestic matters. She also represented indigent defendants charged with crimes through Rising for Justice, gaining valuable experience in both family law and criminal defense. These early roles shaped her dedication to helping clients navigate some of life’s most difficult challenges. Since graduating, Abigail has worked at law firms in Maryland and Washington, D.C. She has represented clients in a variety of cases, including complex custody and divorce matters, traffic violations, misdemeanors, and serious felonies. Abigail also clerked for a Circuit Court judge in Maryland, where she gained insight into the judicial process, enhancing her ability to advocate effectively for her clients.
A Montgomery County native, Abigail has lived in Washington, D.C. for over a decade. She enjoys exploring Rock Creek Park with her family and dog, and has competed in local road races, including two marathons.
