Mr. Hughes convinced me I would be able to win my disability case. He also did not inform me that when your work credits are going to end you need to refile so you can still fight for disability. Once your work credits run out you are no longer eligible to file for disability. You must have worked 5 out of the last 10 years. Also when I received my file from him there was other people information, names, numbers, etc. in my file. I wonder how much of my information went to other people.
My spouse and I went for an immigration issue. He and his front desk staff gave conflicting information from the beginning. Against, my gut feeling and better judgement, I did proceed with him. Once I began to ask questions about the case, particularly with his fee schedule, he became defensive and rude. He then did a complete turn-around and said that he could not help us while not providing any evidence as to why he could not. Meanwhile, our file was lost in his mountain of paperwork and other files on the front counters, in many, many boxes lined up against the walls, or in the hundreds of client files littered on his office floor. It was finally "found". His front desk staff came off as cold and uncaring while watching their YouTube movies instead of listening to the clients. I would not recommend anyone go to this office for any type of case. If you do decide to proceed, I wish you nothing but luck...you are going to need it.
During Custody case he never submitted his information to court until night before hearing, we retained him with $600.00 4 months prior. completely unprofessional.
