Upon release I wanted to continue my activism efforts and build with the national lawyers guild in helping to expose the Alameda County sheriff's office Santa Rita jail for all of the injustices that have taken place and for the inhumane state in which inmates are housed and treated. As a former Brown Beret, I was able to get the San Francisco chapter to work with us and support us in our future efforts.
