Hired Attorney William M. Prettyman III

Will listens to his clients and knows what he's doing in the courtroom. Some might find it blunt, but I prefer to know what's actually possible in court rather than just being told what I want to hear and then being railroaded at trial. There are definitely more expensive attorneys who bark loudly and don't get as good of actual results. Will does a great job.

Hired Attorney William M. Prettyman III

After I paid, I had to call the office multiple times without any call backs. When I finally got a call back, Mr Prettyman, in my opinion, implied it was my fault and even said I should have emailed him as emails don’t, (he either said) ‘Disappear”, or “go away”. I paid $540/hr for the adoption. This may have been a better rate than the first attorney I consulted. It was a flat fee and he billed me 3.7 hours. From the day I paid to the day we signed it took him almost 3 months to do the 3.7 hours of work. Also he said through his employee that our decree didn’t need to be notarized, and that wasn’t true. It had to be notarized. Sadly, I ended up losing it and screaming in frustration over the phone. Would not recommend hiring him, as I’m sure he wouldn’t recommend me as a client.
