I have not hired him but after two minutes he had an attitude which was when the converstaion first started I asked if this was Colin his attitude was that's what I said. I have a hard time hearing but the attitude was uncalled for. I won't be hiring. I'm going to try amber as the guy above me suggested. Can't give my money to bad people.
Please do not use Colin Banyon for any reason! I hired him for my divorce, I just finizaled all of the needed clean up from my original divorce with another attorney (Amber Peters - Highly Recommend). Colin was rude and lazy when it came to my divorce. It was very clear he was just looking for a quick payment. He neglected to account for my pre marital assets which caused me to significantly over pay my ex husband. To list another example of his negligence, my ex requested (in writing) an additional $10k to agree to me adding that he could not get high or drunk with 12 hrs of having to care for our son. Colins response, "I would suggest leave out the no drugs provision. If he is using drugs DHHS can get involved". When I told him I would not agree to respond, "yes" in front of the judge to the question, "were the requirements met"? He opted to rephrase the question to get a, "Yes" response. DO NOT HIRE HIM!
