David Rosen, the immediate past president of the Oregon State Bar, has built a distinguished career as a civil litigator and personal injury attorney. A founding member and past chair of the Deschutes County Access to Justice Committee, David has also served as president of the Oregon Law Foundation and the Deschutes County Bar Association. His dedication to the legal profession has earned him recognition on the Oregon Super Lawyers list for several years.
David began his legal journey in 2001 as an economist for a Washington, D.C. firm, contributing to the Department of Justice’s RICO case against tobacco companies. After law school, he represented Fortune 500 companies in telecommunications, internet services, and retail. In 2010, David returned to Central Oregon, focusing exclusively on personal injury law since 2011. He has successfully mediated, arbitrated, and tried cases across Oregon, earning a reputation for his courtroom prowess.
A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law, where he was mentored by former U.S. Attorney General Benjamin Civiletti, David also holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Combining his legal acumen with personal experience as a bicycle accident plaintiff, David provides compassionate, top-tier representation for injury victims.
