This lawyer is among the most corrupt I have ever directly witnessed in action in both the courtroom and in her conduct outside the courtroom. She employs dirty tactics to "win", no matter as to the actual best interests of juveniles and minor children involved. Jamie Hester Griffith could not care less if minor children are in the custody of a known chronic substance abuser and convicted criminal as long as she is getting paid, she will falsify documents and willingly submit to the judge on behalf of her client. I have even seen her verbally attack another attorney who was on the verge of exposing her misconduct to the North Carolina Bar Association's Grievance Committee. Jamie is still allowed to practice however her days are numbered due to the grievances against her. I am hopeful that the courts will catch on, the law will prevail and justice will be served to this unscrupulous crook. Until then, do not be fooled by this person who is masquerading as an attorney.
This attorney is untrustworthy, unethical and generally unqualified to practice law, esp. family law due to juveniles/minors being involved. I have directly witnessed her during hearings subjecting minor children to testify against parents, against advice of all parties due to concern. However, this attorney proceeds forward with her clients, such as known severe, chronic substance abusers, who have been convicted and had to serve multiple prison sentences for both endangering the welfare of minor children and physical assault/DV arrests and charge. She does NOT care about the welfare of juveniles and goes to extreme lengths, lying and falsifying drug assessments and financial records to ensure her clients "win" by given custody and do not have to pay child support. When she is at the point that she knows she is implicating herself, she will remove herself from representing a client to absolve herself (after she gets paid, of course). I have seen her do it time and time again.
Jamie Hester-Griffith is one of the most unethical lawyers out there. She encourages her clients to submit falsified documents to the court/judge in order to win her clients matters/cases and is simply abhorrent as a lawyer. Her unethical, unprofessional and illegal practices resulted in her being reported to the bar association and she is currently under active investigation for grievances filed against her.
