About Mr. Thomas S. Peters

Tom Peters completed his undergraduate degree at Fordham University and obtained his law degree from the University of Oregon. He has been a practicing attorney since 2005 and has been focused on defending clients accused of Driving Under the Influence (DUI), Operation of a Vessel Under the Influence (BUI), Drug Possession, Drug Distribution and related charges, as well as civil litigation since that time. Tom has chosen to focus solely on DUI, BUI, Drug Possession and Distribution cases, and related charges to better serve his clients. Tom is licensed by the Washington State Bar, the Wyoming State Bar, and is admitted to practice in the Federal District Courts for Wyoming and Western Washington. Tom zealously defends his clients and their rights under the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Amendments. Tom was also active in the Clemency Project 2014 on a pro bono basis, writing numerous petitions and serving as a member of the screening committee, which sought the release federal prisoners who have served at least ten years in prison for non-violent drug offenses and who would have been out of prison under the guidelines and sentencing practices during the administration of President Barack Obama.
