My case was extremely complicated, drawn out, emotional, etc. Katie was fantastic through the entire process. Knowledgeable and resourceful. But the quality I appreciated the most from Katie was her straightforward, no nonsense attitude. I would let my emotions get the better of me some days during this case. I was glad to have Ms. Thompson as my counsel during a long, tedious, and contentious divorce that included child care issues. Ms. Thompson was compassionate, knowledgeable, took the time to explain options and ramifications, calm, willing to work amicably and able to fight strategically when needed. The case included a unique and complicated retirement system account. Ms. Thompson learned the system and during trial was able to educate the court so that an informed decision could be made.
