I received an offer of $2,000 when I first tried to handle my case on my own. The same company - by insurance - paid me almost $50,000 when Ms. Veltman became involved. I didn’t expect that much after being offered so little but she is a great lawyer. I believe she fought hard to get me the most possible after my accident and have already recommended her to other family members.
I highly recommend this law firm to anyone. Dawn Veltman has been dedicated to my case from start to finish and cared about me. The process was easy, stress-free, my case was covered with no surprises and always updated. The firm's staff was very polite and informative. Overall great experience! Very bad communication applied the law completely wrong, double billed triple billed and then some. Has paralegals working for her that is family, relatives, that will call you and ask you to complete a financial document, and the next day another paralegal is calling you for the same paperwork, She creates drama, I was told to cash out retirement funds to pay her and that because it was legal payments i would not be taxed. Wrong answer. Mishandled funds , grossly mishandled funds. horrible family lawyer, outcome was lost my kids, almost lost my house, spent nearly a hundred thousand dollars with her, no results, im still paying for it years later. she skipped town and ran off. her office is closed up.
No matter how hard I tried with this woman, she is impossible to get ahold of. Attorney Dawn Veltman did not return my escrow money even after closing her office doors. Do not go near this crook! Very offputting and weird at times. It almost seemed like she was drugged out at times.
she is horrible!!!!! get some one else she will take your money and give you false hopes!!! she will over charge you for a phone conversation she will tell you one thing and do something else!!! poor service!!
My initial phone calls and emails communications and introduction to Ms. Veltman and her staff during 09/2020 was very pleasant and informative. Throughout the case my assigned attorney changed twice and numerous changes in assigned paralegal staff. My case was settled out of court for several "K" during 07/2024. After several inquires Ms. Veltman stated that the funds should be processed during 09/2024. This for my final communications with Ms. Veltman. She would not respond to office calls, emails, my portal access to her office was terminated and certified letter to her office was returned undeliverable. She failed to disburse any funds from the settlement or communicate a case status. The last assigned attorney did respond that she was no longer employed at Dawn S. Veltman LLC and no other explanation. To date, 01/2025 appears that Ms. Veltman withholding funds disbursement and in breach of our legal agreement. I will not recommend Dawn S. Veltman, LLC to anyone.
she's horrible!!!!! she always sending emails, maybe a call and charges you money!!!!! never!!!! hire her!!!!!
