Hired Attorney

I was convicted of DUI as the result of three glasses of wine on my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. Due to a medical condition (ESRD) I am unable to urinate and 7.5 hours after the last glass of wine I was tested and arrested at a DUI checkpoint (0.09). Mr. Wheelock refused to consider the medical condition in pre-trial consultation and never mentioned it during court. He advised me to plead guilty and pursue the matter on appeal, which he later revealed would cost $5000 for him to pursue.
