Very professional, excellent staff, and took the time to properly prepare my case. I highly recommend her as one who works extremely hard for her clients and looks after the welfare of the client and the children involved in divorce cases.
Said they would take certain actions which they did not and gave no explanation.
There is literally nothing positive I can say about Meredith. Her and her staff are incredibly lazy. They want you to do all the work. They will not even look over the information you provide. They will not review your case. She likes easy wins. If you don't have a slam dunk case avoid her at all cost. She's not only a terrible lawyer but an even worse person. She's expensive and literally will not provide you anything. She will hustle you for every penny before you can even go to court just so she can charge you more and threaten to not represent you if you don't pay. She will tell you exactly what you want to hear. All the right things. Up until she gets the retainer. Once she's paid, it's game over. She will not work. She's afraid of the judges in Jackson County. She's afraid of other lawyers, especially Bill Dillon. Bill is an entire piece of crap but he's at least a good lawyer. I cannot say the same about Meredith. Save yourself some money and a headache and go elsewhere!

Mr. Smith and his assistant Carol are a complete joke. They did absolutely nothing for me. I had to work with my now ex-husband and his attorney to get things done. I tried to get a decree for divorce written all I got was a paper to be determined at hearing when I expressed no hearing was needed. They got my paperwork rejected by the court 3 times didn’t notify me once about it. Emailed me papers with last names incorrect multiple times after being told it was incorrect. Completely unprofessional would not recommend and will not ever return for any services.
One of my parents used this attorney for a divorce, and Meredith did nothing but prolong EVERY single communication/situation when all we wanted was for it to be over with, and quickly. We all quickly realized how money-hungry she is. A process that should have been resolved quickly and easily (because both parties agreed and resolved most things outside of the office), was made into a nightmare of stress. The few times I contacted the office, one of the legal assistants (Christy) acted very ann
