About Trent Bond

Trent grew up in Pasadena, Texas near the refineries along the Gulf Coast. He attended South Houston High School where he graduated early so he could enlist in the United States Navy. On his first tour of duty, Trent was sent overseas to Yokosuka, Japan, where he served aboard the USS Midway. While in the Navy, Trent learned the importance of discipline and hard work. He also learned that paying attention to detail can be the difference between success and failure. Trent put himself through college and law school. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston, Clear Lake and his law degree from South Texas College of Law, in Houston, Texas.

During law school, Trent was awarded membership in The Order of the Lytae in recognition of excellence and attainment in the study of the law. After law school, Trent moved to Beaumont, Texas so he could serve the people of Jefferson County as a Prosecutor in the Jefferson County District Attorney's office. In 1997, Trent left the Jefferson County District Attorney's office for private practice.

It was a natural progression for Trent to go from protecting the rights of victims harmed by criminal conduct to protecting the rights of individuals harmed by the negligence and gross negligence of others. Trent is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has extensive experience in personal injury litigation. Trent has been the lead attorney in hundreds of personal injury cases ranging from automobile accidents, to plant explosions, to complex medical malpractice cases.

He believes that the best way to succeed is by working harder and being better prepared than your adversary. Trent believes in giving back to the community. He is a supporter of "Some Other Place" a mission that serves the homeless in Beaumont, Texas, as well as being an active member of St. Anthony's Parish. Trent has been fortunate enough to coach his children in youth sports. He has coached teams in the West End Little League and Beaumont Little Dribblers.

Trent has been recognized as a Super Lawyer ( a Thomson Reuters service) in 2011, 2012 & 2013, a Life Member of the Texas Bar Foundation, a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Furthermore, Trent has served as the Vice President for the Jefferson County Bar (2013-2014) and as a Director for the Jefferson County Bar (2011-2013),(2000-2001). He also served as a Director and Vice President in the Jefferson County Young Lawyers Association.

Recipient, Beaumont Police Officers Association Service Award, 2002, 2008. Assistant, District Attorney, 1994-1997. Life Fellow, Texas Bar Foundation, Order of Lytae.

Hired Attorney

I had a great experience with Trent during my case. He was very responsive and easy to reach. He always kept me informed and very professional. He was the perfect lawyer for me and I will definitely be recommending him in the future to friends and family.

Hired Attorney

After being sued by my exwife for custody, possession reduced to supervised only and child support increased. I had hired a highly sought after/expensive attorney but his lack of attention, care, availability made me change. I changed and hired Trent and everything changed immediately for me. I now have custody of my son and instead of paying child support I receive it. He was always available, super staff and fought for me and my son like a family member instead of a paycheck. True Grit.

Hired Attorney

I had the opportunity to have Mr. Trent Bond represent me and my children in a custody case, and I have to say that he is an outstanding man. Not only did Mr. Bond take full control over my case, he was not like most attorneys and just use my case for a pay check, he was emotionally involved with concerns of my children's well being and did all in his power to support us and now that the case is finished I will use him for anything that I will ever need. I recommend anyone to him.
