Sandra C. Howard is a Golden Triangle native who graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Lamar University in 1993. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law in 1998, graduating with honors. Sandra was named Best Oralist in the 1997 Spurgeon Bell Moot Court Competition. She received first place in the 1997 Starr Insurance Law National Moot Court Competition, and was a semi-finalist in the 1998 Craven Constitutional Law National Moot Court Competition. Sandra is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and the Phi Delta Phi Law Fraternity. Howard Sandra C. practiced with Zeleskey, Cornelius, Hallmark, Roper & Hicks, L.L.P. in Lufkin, Texas before joining Germer in 1999 where she is now of counsel. She is a member of Jefferson County Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, and Texas Association of Defense Counsel. Sandy was selected by her peers as a “Texas Rising Star”, a Thompson Reuters publication, in 2007 and 2008. She has been appointed Municipal Judge for the City of Lumberton.
