Hired Law Firm

I couldn't be more happy with the representation given to me by David Mcfadyen and his law firm. For the past 11 years I have used Mr. Mcfadyen for various legal services. He is extremely knowledgeable in NC law, and I know he can help me with anything from domestic to civil problems. I highly recommend him because of his character and willingness to help his clients to the best of his ability.

Mr. Valentine has a chauvinistic attitude. He stated that he didn't know why I was anxious to divorce that I would be married within a year. Ha, six years later.

From the beginning, Mr Valentine was disinterested in my case. His advice from the start was just to accept that I would not be able to recover the money I believe the rental management company had inappropriately withheld from our account. To provide some justification for the $300 consultation fee, he drafted a letter asking the rental company to provide justification for withholding the money, and accounting for the line item on the bill. When I hadn't heard anything after a month, I called. " Oh yes, we got a response. Here's the email they sent back." All the rental company had done, was provide the contract verbiage they contend justified the charge. I replied that they had not answered the questions from the letter, and that he should respond accordingly. Another month passed, and I wrote a follow up email asking Mr Valentine what was the response to the follow up letter. I never received a reply or an acknowledgement of my email. I called a couple of times, but got no call back

Proof? Doesn't matter. Facts? Nah those don't matter either. I was ordered to pay attorney fees and an order of contempt based solely off of hearsay with absolutely ZERO evidence submitted. This judge is an exact representation of everything wrong with our legal system. How could anyone have anything but contempt for courts run by people like this?
