Forrest is a friend of my brother's. First I hired him for a refinance and he charged almost twice as much as most other attorneys. I own a Collection Agency and use several attorneys. I decided to take a chance and give him one collection account to see how he handles it. A judgment was already obtained so all he had to do was find the assets. A few weeks later I got a bill in the mail for around $150. I have been in collections since 1986 and have never received a bill from a collection attorney once! A collection attorney does not get paid unless he collects money! Since this was 20 years ago do not recall the exact amount of the account, but It was around $10,000 or $20,000. here we are 20 years later and he is still trying to collect the $150 from me! Thank goodness I did not give him more than one account!! He does not even realize it is illegal for him to collect this debt because it is out of statute. No humilty!
