I'm from Texas and received two bogus traffic citations from a small town in Boyce, LA around 2am. Frustrated with the situation, I called around 10 law firms around Baton Rouge and New Orleans to get my traffic ticket appealed, and no firm would take me on. The lawyers would say "it's easier to just pay it and move on" or they would charge ridiculous retainers (in the $2500s+) for two stop sign tickets. When I heard of Emily at Brock & Palmintier, I gave them a call and QUICKLY she had agreed to take my case at a REASONABLE price and understood my frustration with the traffic citations. Just a few short weeks later, I received a phone call from Boyce PD informing me my tickets had been entirely dismissed and that I had no fees to pay! Incredible! Fair! If I ever get a traffic citation in LA again (which I hope I don't), I will be calling Emily first!
