Bryan Smith is a dedicated advocate with a career defined by extensive courtroom experience and a commitment to justice. With dozens of jury trials and suppression hearings under his belt, Bryan brings a sophisticated understanding of criminal procedure and narcotics investigations to his practice. Bryan previously worked for 7 years in the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office in a variety of roles, including 5 years working on major felony drug and gun crimes, and he left in 2022 as the supervisor of the narcotics unit and director of the Metro Drug Task Force. Bryan recently worked as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Johnson County, and managed a general felony caseload, overseeing every stage of the legal process from initial filing through jury trial. Bryan’s experience as a deputy prosecutor gives him the unique ability to prepare you for the state’s case through negotiation, motions, or trial.
Bryan is a proud member of the Indianapolis Bar Association and the Johnson County Bar Association. He currently serves as the Chair of the Indy Bar Criminal Justice Section and is a past President of the Johnson County Bar.
Bryan earned his law degree, magna cum laude, from the Charleston School of Law in 2015, where he distinguished himself as a member of the Federal Courts Law Review, Moot Court Board, and Trial Advocacy Team.
