About Bryan P. Smith

Bryan Smith is a dedicated advocate with a career defined by extensive courtroom experience and a commitment to justice. If you have been injured in an accident or by someone else’s negligence, Bryan is driven to help you recover from your injuries. Bryan is dedicated to assisting those charged with misdemeanor offenses, from drunk driving to theft, and felony offenses, from drug possession and dealing to violent offenses.

With dozens of jury trials and suppression hearings under his belt, Bryan brings a sophisticated understanding of criminal procedure and narcotics investigations to his practice. Bryan previously worked for 7 years in the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office in a variety of roles, including 5 years working on major felony drug and gun crimes, and he left in 2022 as the supervisor of the narcotics unit and director of the Metro Drug Task Force. Bryan recently worked as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Johnson County, and managed a general felony caseload, overseeing every stage of the legal process from initial filing through jury trial. Bryan’s experience as a deputy prosecutor gives him the unique ability to prepare you for the state’s case through negotiation, motions, or trial.
