You should not transfer property to someone in anticipation of bankruptcy. The trustee will get the property back as a voidable transfer.

A Wage Garnishment should not be entered while you are in bankruptcy as it violates 11 U.S.C. 1306. Give this information to your bankruptcy counsel to have same removed.
