Will I still be able to rent after bankruptcy?

Richard B. Jacobson
Answered by attorney Richard B. Jacobson (Unclaimed Profile)
Bankruptcy lawyer at Richard B. Jacobson Associates, LLC
Generally yes. But it would be good to put aside three or four months rent, so if your prospective landlord discovers the bankruptcy and baulks at renting to you, you can offer several months rent in advance.
