Charlotte is very knowledgeable in all areas of divorce law. The compassion shown by her for my situation was more than I could have asked for. Charlotte went above and beyond my expectations in assisting me in dealing with my divorce issues.
Charlotte has very reasonable rates. She is a very skilled lawyer and well versed in divorce laws. Her kind and caring nature for her client make her stand out from other lawyers.
She's not good at communication. Doesn't reply to client's e-mails promptly. She does use e-mail to reach client urgently for clarification. I asked her to add one or two lines to the draft of judgment, but she missed reading that e-mail & forwarded to other party & they signed it. When I asked about it, she says "it's already done, sorry, cannot be modified now!" I cannot recommend her to anyone. For $350/hr you'll get better lawyers who solve clients' problems the way the client wants it.
Charlotte was retained to follow through with a motion for modification custody case. While she was retained and the lawyer of record for the case, she failed to show up to the hearing. The judge had to reprimand her and force her to appear, almost 3 hours after the hearing was to start. Not only did she put me in a very compromising position, I ended up being forced to make a deal and give up custody.
