Dianne S. Kennedy is an associate attorney in the Bakersfield office of Borton Petrini, LLP. Dianne has been an attorney for over ten years and is licensed to practice law in three states – California, Texas, and Arkansas. As a Bakersfield attorney, Dianne’s practice areas include family law, business litigation, and general civil litigation in Kern and surrounding counties. In the family law realm, she represents clients in all aspects of family law, including dissolution, legal separation, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, domestic violence restraining orders, pre-nuptial agreements, guardianships, and adoptions. Other practice areas within the Borton Petrini law firm provide Dianne with the resources and experience she may need in real property, estate planning, tax law, business, and/or civil litigation, when developing comprehensive legal and practical strategies to meet her clients’ needs. Dianne is a military spouse with firsthand experience and specialized expertise in military and civilian service domestic relations. Before joining Borton Petrini LLP, Dianne gained valuable experience practicing civil litigation, personal injury, family law, corporate law, and employment law as in-house counsel. Dianne received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas Bowen School of Law in 2015, and her BA degree from University of Arkansas at Little Rock, with a focus in business management. She is a strong believer in the power of community and volunteers with multiple nonprofit organizations. In her spare time, Dianne can usually be found riding a horse, working with a cause she is passionate about, or spending time with her husband and three sons.
