Charlie Shane grew up in the Issaquah/Sammamish area and graduated from Issaquah High School. After a brief time at Brigham Young University, Charlie served a two-year volunteer mission in Puerto Rico, deepening a lifelong commitment to service and community. Upon returning, Charlie earned a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from BYU Provo.
Following a year working in the family business, Charlie pursued a Juris Doctorate at Gonzaga University School of Law, where Charlie served as Managing Editor of the Law Review and graduated cum laude. Charlie later earned an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida, though the focus of the legal practice has centered elsewhere.
With over two decades of experience, Charlie’s primary area of practice is family law. The firm is also expanding into consumer protection, particularly in vehicle-related cases. Charlie is known for a results-driven approach and unwavering dedication to clients—fighting hard on their behalf and striving to resolve matters as efficiently and quickly as the legal system allows, unless strategic considerations suggest otherwise.
Charlie lives in Kitsap County with a wonderful spouse and three sons. Outside of work, Charlie enjoys paddle boarding, beach outings, exploring local restaurants, and spending quality time with family.
