W. Paul Miller graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and a minor in Mathematics. Paul graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law, and also briefly studied law at the University of Texas Law School and La Universidad de Guanajuato in Guanajuato, Mexico. While in law school, Paul served as the Trial Advocacy Chair of the 2009-2010 Board of Barristers. Paul was also one of four members of the 2009-2010 ABA Arbitration Competition National Championship team from Texas Tech. In addition, Paul was selected into the Phi Delta Phi Honors legal fraternity, inducted into the National Order of the Barrister and won two intra-school Mock Trial Competitions. Miller W. Paul is licensed to practice in Texas state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. Paul has successfully tried both personal injury and first-party insurance claims in Central Texas. Paul also has experience in corporate ventures, including the set-up of business entities in Texas. He has been recognized as a Texas Super Lawyer Rising Star, a Thompson Reuters publication, from 2022 - 2023.
