R. Alan Mason

Mr. Mason went above and beyond for my case. He was compassionate and sincere throughout the entire process. He was extremely well organized, consistent and diligent—which was of ease to me. His years of experience shone in the courtroom. He was articulate and well-versed in child custody laws. We did end up winning a rather difficult custody case in front of a tough judge and the tears of joy flowed. I cannot put into words how thankful I am for everything he has done for me.

I hired Alan because my husband cheated and could afford a good attorney through his job. I could not afford much. As he was the bread winner. But Alan worked with me, and...won my case. Since then he has still continued to help me as issues arise. I have also referred two friends to him for support in their families future planing and needs. Our custody case is a very tough case, and it has been very difficult however, Mr. Mason has been diligent through it all. At one point the other party tried to have a hearing before the Judge without properly serving the other parties involved. Mr. Mason found out about the hearing at the last minute and dropped everything else he had going on to make sure he was there. He did a fantastic job and without his ear to the ground could have gone very bad however, thanks to his reliable and quick response the hearing was reset.

This lawyer is hands down one of the worst in the Austin/Travis County area. His reasoning and analytical decisions involving my case were that of a teenager. At times he was beligerant, and then quiet/timid. You will not be satisfied with his services. You will be surprised at his unethical behavior. You will be appalled by his unprofessionalism. Dont believe me...? Go ahead and hire him them and find out for yourself.

Probably the worst attorney in Texas. To hire him is to basically dig yourself a grave no matter how good your case may be. Family law? I don’t think he knows anything about family or law. He will not go out on a limb for you or fight for anything, in fact he allows the opposing attorney do everything so he doesn’t have to! Meaning it is written out of disservice to you! His unethical behavior and representation of you is not in your best interest. Other attorneys and judges already have preconceived notions on him and would rather not work for him. You might as well throw your money in the trash
