His experience also includes handling matters before the PTAB and drafting infringement, validity and freedom to operate opinions. Nick also regularly advises clients on a variety of matters involving technology transactions, including software licensing and IP due diligence in connection with mergers and acquisitions.

Nick previously served as a Patent Examiner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office where he examined patent applications based on the subject matter dealing with processor architecture, branch prediction, multi-threaded architecture and processing, computer and social networking, e-mail configuration, and protocol and business methods.

Nick is a member of the American Bar Association and the Institute for Information Law and Policy. He received his B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University and his J.D. from New York Law School.
