Hired Attorney

Melissa received this case as a rebound from another firm and did not take a minute to show her total disregard for my case. She did not respond in a timely manner to any questions that came from me and had no incentive to work on my case. His attention to detail was null and void and he was always behind opposing counsel. She never defined a strategy and ruined my chances of getting a good settlement with her total lack of dedication and professionalism that still continues to this day. Melissa cannot handle several cases at the same time because she is not qualified and what she will do is send out the basic paperwork and wait for your case to be resolved like a similar case, but without investigating anything related to your personal situation. I never thought that my first experience with a lawyer in the US would be so dire and so bad.

Hired Attorney

I wanted to share my worst experience working with Melissa at Smith & Bledsoe Family Law( previously called "the law office of Brandon Bledsoe"). Unfortunately, it was not a positive one. Melissa rarely responded to my emails and did not inform me of the court date. I had to discover my court date from the official website and subsequently send emails to confirm it. Additionally, there was no preparation for the court hearing. They simply appeared and suggested that I reach an agreement with my ex. Despite this lack of preparation and zero debate during the hearing, I was charged $1500++ for 4 hours, actually she was there only for less than 2 hr. Given this experience, I would advise against working with Melissa and Smith & Bledsoe Family Law for any family law matters.
