About John Hennan

John Hennan loves to advocate, and is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. John seeks out clients who deserve dedicated and calculated representation. He has experience in both trial and appellate courts, and in addition to being Board Certified, has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star every year for the last eight years. In 2022, John was additionally named a Super Lawyers “Up and Coming 100.” John is also a Certified Mediator and is frequently called upon to mediate all types of family cases.

John relishes international travel, enjoys reading and studying medieval and renaissance history, listens to all kinds of music (from Iron Maiden to Amy Winehouse), and spends extended periods of time roughhousing with his two dogs, Bruni and Perla. He enjoys being active, working out, hiking, and playing rugby. John earned his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law, and earned a Master of Laws while studying abroad at University College London.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
