James Hicks is a civil litigator and business lawyer who handles a wide variety of construction, real estate and commercial disputes. James graduated from Cornell Law School in 2012, where he was an Editor of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy. After law school, James B. Hicks joined the New York City Law Department, primarily representing the City in condemnation litigation. He received a Division Chief Award for exemplary public service. James joined Germer’s Austin office in 2015. He is licensed to practice in Texas state courts, New York state courts, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.
