About Mr. Daniel W. Dworin

After nearly 30 years defending Central Texans charged with crimes ranging from DWI to murder in state and federal court as a solo practitioner, Dan Dworin joined the fast-growing team at Michael & Associates as a Senior Trial Attorney in 2025.

A 1995 graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, he has been Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2004.

He is a former president of the Austin Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Criminal Justice Section of the Austin Bar Association, and the Austin Chapter President of the Federal Bar Association. He is licensed in the United States District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of Texas. Texas Monthly has repeatedly recognized him as a Rising Star or Super Lawyer. Hired Attorney

Mr. Dworin has represented me on more than one occasion ( both cases resulted in dismissals). He was always available to consult with me about the status of my case. He answered any and all questions/ concerns with honesty and worked diligently to resolve all issues. He genuinely cares about his clients and goes above and beyond to make sure you are fully knowledgeable about all aspects of your case. He is the only lawyer I will ever hire and/or recommend. He's truly an amazing lawyer.
