I consulted together with my husband on what would be a collaborative divorce. She told us that she was not legally allowed to represent us both so we had to choose one or the other to be officially represented. We decided it would be my husband but we were in agreement on everything and it was just a formality as a Hired hand to get the documents together so we did not have to file on our own at the county clerk. But after she started representing my husband she encouraged him to radically change our already agreed upon plan and rather than settling and being divorced it is now escalated to a contested situation and I am no longer going to work with her firm at all. So everything that has been spent up to this point is a complete waste. I feel that she pulled a bait and switch on us by understanding clearly what we explicitly explained we needed from her and then just going along with the traditional single-sided lopsided representation case.
