I purchased my home back in the fall of 2017 and used Herbert & Eckburg LLP. Jacob Eckburg was assisting in the closing and did a fine job during that process. Unfortunately the home flooding during heavy rains which we did not discover until the summer of the following year (2018) during a period of heavy rain. My realtor asked me to reach out to Jacob Eckburg and his firm for help as they did represent me in the sale of the home. I was just looking for advice but I was hoping he would write a

Mr. Herbert is indeed unprofessional and seemingly incompetent when it comes to representing his clients. The le der may have violate the client's rights, and when asked if indeed the client's rights were violated, he did everything to avoid answering the question. But isn't that his job as an attorney? To protect and advocate for his clients when their rights undervthe law have been violated? To take it one step further, he not only failed to provide the care and service to the client who hired him to perform as his attorney, as he was hired to do, but he worked swiftly to eliminate the people who actually were advocating for Mr. Herberts client's rights. It appears he sided with the lender against his own client's. What a shame. He never even addressed his client's needs nor advocated for their rights- all of which he was hired to do. Who wants to hire and pay a lawyer who refuses to advocate or protect the clients that hired him in the first place? Thats what you'll get here.
